Song of the day #18- Fang Island- Daisy

I love this song at least as much as any other that came out last year. I don’t tend to use the word “awesome”, but I can’t think of a better one to describe Fang Island. They pwn. This song is like a three minute high 5, and the video makes me happy.
 

Song of the day #17. White Williams- Violator

It’s been 3 or 4 years since White Williams’ Smoke album arrived on my shelf, but the mood still often takes me. Whenever I hear this song, I think “I ought to make someone a mixtape”. I doubt that it would change the recipient’s life, but it would improve it to a degree similar to buying them a ice-cream.

My computer died yesterday. I also realised that it might not be worth waiting for the phone to ring from the BBC. On the other hand, the cricket was great today, and i got to sit on arse and watch it. Also, I heard this wicked summer jam.
